"over 18 weeks and still waiting for consultation"

I was referred to orthopaedics in early March, asked to transfer to a private waiting list, then several weeks later told I couldn't be added to the list then my referral was cancelled and I am still waiting to be seen. Keep being told new clinics wil be added and I will be seen soon and at the top of the list due to the 'breach', but still waiting with no contact from the hospital unless I chase - very frustrated!!
