"Thank you for a good job"

About: Wansbeck Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I recently had a operation to remove my gallbladder as it was making my life hell.

As a patient I noticed quickly how thorough they were about detail, checking and double checking. They made me fully aware about what could happen after surgery but alleviated any real worries. The surgeon I was expecting to carry out my operation was Mr Bawa but turned out to be someone else. This turned out not to be a problem and any worries I had were unfounded.

Unfortunately I cant remember the surgeons name which is a little frustrating as I would like to have been able to mention his name to say " thank you for a good job "

To all the staff who looked after me especially on ward 15...........You are appreciated!

Dear Sir,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for giving the team this lovely feedback.

I am delighted that your initial fears were alleviated by their attention to detail and commitment to keeping you fully informed throughout.

I have shared your feedback with Ann Grayson the manager of ward 15 and I know she will make sure the rest of the team get to see it. I am sure they will feel very appreciated when they read your kind words.

If you do want to share your details with me privatelyJoanne.mackintosh @nhct.nhs.uk I will make sure the surgeon involved gets to receive this too.

With thanks again and all the best with your recovery at home,.

Jo
