I wanted to leave a review about the amazing service i received at the L & D when i gave birth to my twins in Septmeber 2014. I had a planned c setion on 16th Septmebr 2014 and from the moment i walked into Ward 31 at 7am that day i had the best service. The staff where amazing and kept me informed of everything that was going on and what was going to happen which put me totally at ease. I had my beautiful twins a boy and girl which they told me when they was born and the staff in the theatre was so amazing and made my experience of giving birth the best experience of my life. They all made my day wonderful and i will never forget the day because my babies where born but also because of the staff/team that brought them into the world because "thank you" isnt a big enough word. After giving birth i went into ward 32 and was giving side room F as i had twins and i have to say the staff where amazing again especially two in particular who were so lovely to me and my partner while we stayed there for a week. All the staff took care of me around the clock and also the care of the twins was top class i have no complaints about this service at all. The only thing i would say is that i felt for the staff as they always seemed under staffed and running around constanly. The board showed that 3 midwives should be on duty but this never seemed to be the case. Having said this i still received an amazing service and everyone i meet was professional and friendly. I cant praise the staff from begining to end in this area of the L & D.
