"Maternity Unit at DMH"

Lovely! I have been in the hospital many times since the beginning of pregnancy for check ups with the consultant. The midwives and Health Care Assistants are great, supportive and lovely. They are knowledgeable and are happy to answer any questions (even the ones you don't want to ask as you are worried you will sound stupid!) The receptionist is friendly and efficient and I'm happy to say doesn't put up with any nonsense from some of the less savoury characters that come into the hospital. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are stretched and have a queue out of the door. The gynae consultants are friendly and strive to ensure you understand what is going on. I'm not going to lie, still worried about childbirth but I definitely feel more reassured knowing there is a great team working there who are friendly and happy to support you! I'll update once baby has appeared :-)
