I attend several different clinics, Rheumatology, Eye Clinic and bowel disease clinic . The disabled car park is quite a way from any of these clinics since the helipad has been installed and is often full. It is always a painful struggle to get from the car to the hospital department, due to the distance. I feel that the car park charges are a rip off, on a normal appointment, which is usually running at least 30 minutes late, my car park charges are £3.60. How can this be justified when most of the time, doctors are running behind time? Treatment wise, I always find the doctors and nurses pleasant and helpful . Luckily, I have been able to switch my rheumatology appointments to Bridgwater, where the parking is easier, closer to the hospital and free!
