"Ultrasound Department"

About: King George Hospital

My name is Lindsay Curtis, I had an injection under US control into my groin on 15/10/14 and just have to say that I was extremely impressed by the staff. Although they were running approximately 1 to 1.5 hours late, there wasn't one complaint from anyone in the waiting area, mainly due to a lady who, although obviously very busy, had a constant genuine smile on her face and always let everybody know who were the next couple of people she would be taking in for their procedure when she was finished with her present patient. Also, when she took me into the procedure room, she put me at complete ease. As she had to check on someone else, she brought another nurse into the room to wait with me (unfortunately I did not get her name) but again she made me feel at ease and was chatting to me all the time. When the Doctor came in to do the injection, he was extremely good and just easy to talk to. Overall, I had a great experience as I was very nervous. How wonderful that for something that can be quite scary and stressful, your staff made me feel comfortable and made me laugh which in turn, brightened my day. Thank you to them all. Just to let you know, under question '4' the ultrasound department wasn't listed so I had to say Pain Management to get past the question.
