Job really well done

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had my baby at tameside maternity unit in july. The care I received was amazing, from all the midwifes who looked after me on the antenatal ward, the midwifes I saw at the doctors and the ones who came to my home, my midwife during labour, Christine and the doctor Gemma.

I felt comfortable throughout the whole experience and I felt well looked after. Even when we were re-admitted to hospital the week after birth the doctor and midwife who had looked after me both came to visit to check we were ok. I would definitely recommend tameside maternity unit and the staff I have mentioned deserve to be recognised for a job really well done.
