"Gastro department disfunctional and uncaring."

About: Charing Cross Hospital

I came into charring crosss hospital around 20th October 2012 having had previous many bouts of intense pain and sickness which they diagnosed as acute gastro enteritis when I had in fact a bowel obstruction, they told me that I should manage this myself at home and not come to the hospital again. When I was finally diagnosed with my condition they gave me an operation 6 days after being admitted and who ever operated on me must of been pretty bad as I am still suffering from the operation that they performed on me. The good news is that I did change hospitals after going back to them and explaining that I had still had problems, they said see a psycologist, and don,t bother coming to my out patients appointment as they are not going to do anything for me at Charring Cross Hospital, if you go to the gastro dept, the consultant when I changed hospitals, i was treated with respect and my problem was was taken seriously, the problem was that my intestines and small bowel was attached together. The nightmare for anyone being treated by imperial health care trust is getting these people look after you at st Mary,s hospital. Because if this consultant is being moved there, you might get my nightmare all again for you. Be warned! These people are not at all caring.
