What I liked
The treatment my husband eventually received was exemplorary.
What could be improved
On arrival at the A and E Department at Warrington Hospital, I explained on more than one occasion that my husband had been refered by his GP and that details had been faxed to the hospital in advance of my husbands arrival.
We waited 2 hours before being directed to the appropriate department. I am sure there is room for improvement in the system for such exceptional circumstances. There doesn't seen much point in the GP speeding up the process when the reception staff at A & E don't acknowledge it.
