"Overall excellent care of my husband"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Just the general we are all in this together feeling. My husband was not going through this op in isolation. The staff made him welcome made sure he had tea / toast after his Glaucoma operation. I was unable to be there ah but having heard his response I knew he was in good kind hands. My daughter put her appreciation on face book Thank you Staff of the Ophthalmology department. Thank you very much for your kind comments and also to your daughter for her feedback. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Opthalmology Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE. We hope that your husband has made a good recovery since his operation. Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
