"Excellent Service From The Day Surgery Unit"

On the 30 September 2014 I was admitted to the St Albans Hospital Day Surgery Unit for a Hernia operation . The treatment I received from the time I arrived till the time I was discharged was first class. The nurses in the Day Surgery Unit looked after me extremely well and explained the procedure to me . The Surgeon and two members of his team visited me at different times to explain the operational details . At all times I was given ample opportunity to ask questions. When I was taken to the Operating Theartre each member of the team introduced themselves and explained their part in the operation. When the operation was completed I was then taken back to the Day Surgery Ward for recovery , again I was very well looked after until I was discharged . Finally I was impressed as to how clean it was everywhere .
