"Rude check inn staff."

About: King George Hospital

Went yesterday night with very bad back pains. Was seen straight way by a nurse and told me to check in with another person in the next window. She asked my my name and I said mohammed she said there is lots of those here. I was in serious pain to question here about that remark. Then took her about 15/20 mins to check me in for some reason. I told her I am in serious pain could you please hurry up or I could sit down. Finally got to majors was told I would be getting some pain killers but nothing appeared. Had to flag down a nurse who was very understand and he got me some pain killers. He also got me to a bay with a bed and the doctor was very good also. The male nurse and female doctor were vere nice everything else a joke. If you check your CCTV in A and E 12 October about 5.30am you can see what kind of pain I was in.

Thank you for your comment on NHS Choices. I'm sorry it took some time for you to receive pain killers, but I am very pleased that once you got to majors, our staff were kind and understanding. We have recently introduced a system that will allow some senior nursing staff to administer pain killers (medication) for certain conditions. We believe this will help more of our patients earlier. Yours sincerely, Flo Panel-Coates Chief Nurse
