"Hip dislocation"

About: Conquest Hospital

Six weeks ago I underwent a hip replacement operation in another hospital. Unfortunately, it dislocated yesterday whilst I was shopping and I was in agony. Shop staff were very helpful and called an ambulance and I was soon in A&E at the Conquest. I was treated with great sensitivity and given adequate pain relief immediately. By 9.30 p.m. I had been in theatre and was very comfortable in Recovery. All staff involved in my care could not have been kinder and I shall be eternally grateful to them.
