"Outpatient xray dept"

About: Tameside General Hospital

I recently took a friend to the outpatient xray dept and was very impressed by the assistance provided to her. As she had problems walking a volunteer met us at reception and took her to the dept on a mobility scooter, returning to collect her afterwards. Also she was seen within 5 minutes of us arriving and was very satisfied with the treatment she received. When I had enquired about assistance the lady was very helpful too.

Thank you for taking the time to post these lovely comments. We are working hard to ensure patients receive the best care and treatment in a timely manner and it is great to receive feedback like this.

We will ensure the voluntary services department receive your feedback

Thank you again

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
