My 76 year old mother has been waiting for over 18 months for a knee replacement she has been sent all over tameside for different tests which as she can hardly walk is ridiculous. she was contacted two weeks ago and informed she is now going private due to her wait she has had no further contact ! on contacting her consultant's secretary she has been told there is nothing they can do as she has been taken off there list, she could not inform her who or where she should contact ? This experience has been a total nightmare !
