What I liked
Tererrible experience at A+E for my elderly mother who was brought in after a blacking out. One doctor even tried to convince her that she has not blacked out, but had fallen over! She was told that her BP was very high by one doctor and then the other doctor told her it was normal for her (systolic over 200) How would he know what was normal for my mother when there were no prior readings for him to compare this with? Eventually, and only with my chasing the medical team, they discovered that after coming back from X-ray, my mother had not been put back on the system! The only saving grace was the kind nurse we saw when she first came in. Hoever, 7 hours later said nurse had finished her shift. It is no wonder or surprise that the hospital lost its CEO and looks to be going into the public sector equivalent of administration
What could be improved
Communications, basic systems in place, conduct of some of the medical staff
