"surgical follow up"

About: Leighton Hospital

After a recent hernia op I was given a 3 outpatient check up,the operation was successful but I still had an issue I felt needed looking at,for some reason I did not see my surgeon but someone I felt was there to say yes or no I was fixed, they refused to look or listen to my other problem which im sure would have been identified by my surgeon, and was hurried out of the door feeling very let down...not what I was expecting from a previously exellant service...and I would have expected more from someone in such a position..very poor indeed.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay and I am pleased to note that your operation went well. I am sorry that you feel that your other concerns were not addressed at your clinic appointment and we will feed these concerns back to the relevant medical teams. If you still need to be seen by a Consultant, please make an appointment with your GP to refer you back and we will happily see you again. Sandra Glover, Modern Matron, Surgery and Cancer Division
