"My 5 star treatment at West Mid"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I had serious complications which developed from a bout of tonsillitis. I couldn't swallow water by the time I got to A&E. Not to be too dramatic but I was really scared and in horrific pain, I'm never ill. As soon as I got to A&E I felt safe. The staff in A&E and Triage were great. I was referred to a consultant from ENT who was amazing. He sensed my needs and reassured me immediately. Following his kind and warm bedside manner and effective fast ,treatment I was taken up to Richmond Ward where I was given the best care by all the staff. By the evening I was feeling better and the pain had subsided. By the morning I felt so much better and the consultant came to see me to discharge me and took the time to talk to me about about my treatment. I am so grateful to him and all the staff . The NHS treatment I got from West Middlesex hospital really was 5 star on Wednesday 8th October. Thank you so much.

Dear Michelle, thank you very much for your great feedback. We have passed your comments on to our colleagues at Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust who run the Urgent Care Centre where you would have been seen initially. We have also forwarded to our A&E and ENT teams who will really appreciate your lovely comments. We hope that you are feeling much better.
