"Visit to the podiatry clinic"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as a service user),

I live 4 miles from Batley, Cleckheaton and Dewsbury so am able to go to any one of these health centres to the podiatry clinics. On the last occasion I incorrectly noted that my appointment was in Cleckheaton when it should have been Batley. Because of this mistake I ended up at the wrong place and they could not trim my nails for me.

It is now about 16 weeks since I had my nails trimmed and they are very uncomfortable. I keep ringing an 0303 number to see if they have any cancellations I can make use of. Although I leave my details no one gets back to me. I tend to call on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week but have had no joy.

On a separate issue I have IBS and diverticulitis – conditions I have managed by myself for 30 odd years. However, recently I had a bout of diarrhoea which lasted for 21 days which the doctors could not find a cause for. I’ve seen a dietician to try and manage my condition but they can’t seem to fathom it.
