"They are all just fabulous"

About: John Eastwood Hospice (inpatient)

(as the patient),

My name is Dave. I have lung fibrosis. When I was first told about it I didnt know which way to turn. I felt I had been dropped in the middle of a field and no-one was there to help me. My doctor asked me to go to the hospice. When I got there I was very suprised what a lovely friendly place it was. I had a short time as an inpatient. They run round you and nothing is too much trouble for them. They tell you everything you want to know. Thank you so much to the staff, doctors and volunteers, they are all just fabulous. I think without their help I would have given up. Do not be afraid to ask for help. These people become your friends and that's what counts.

Dear Dave,

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments about the services here at John Eastwood Hospice. Our team of volunteers and clinicians aim to make everyone welcome and cared for whilst giving support to enable you to live well when you are outside of our walls.

I will pass on your kind words to the team.

Thank you once again

Emma
