"Fantastic care received"

Couldn't fault the care I receiced when in Darlington Memorial Hospital last week to deliver my baby boy. The labour ward midwives are amazing in the role they do. Always keeping myself and my husband up to speed on what was happening throughout made the full labour and delivery experience more enjoyable this time around as 2 years previous I had a difficult delivery with my first baby. There was a slight delay on the morning I arrived for my planned induction but was kept updated of what was happening throughout and I felt mine and my babies safety was always in mind. I would like to thank in particular two members of staff who were the two midwives looking after me throughout labour and delivery, their care and attention was never forced, they are genuinely nice people and a credit to the role they do. Also a huge thanks to my midwife and consultant who looked after me throughout my pregnancy. Again two lovely, genuine people who deserve to be recognised for the commitment to the job they do.
