"a truly awful experience"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

So shocked and disappointed at the poor quality of the care and treatment my elderly mother has received from this department. We were so upset with the attitude of one particular member of staff we have written to the hospital and shared our experience with the Care Quality Commission. If I was my mother I would rather suffer than go back. We would prefer that the hospital does not leave its usual message in response, and ask that it pay more attention to making sure its staff treat elderly people in a caring, responsive, effective, dignified and respectful manner.
