what a horrid place. the receptionists have clearly never had training on customer training. the staff and doctors are the same. its very clear there ability is on a par with the patiences there tonight. iv never been in such a horrid place and came home without any help or aftercare. i can only say why did they shut the newcastle general shut down and keep this very horrid place open !

We're so sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience at the hospital, and apologise profusely. The situation you describe clearly falls short of the levels of customer service that we strive for. Your comments have been fed back to the admin team, but if you would like us to look into this further you can contact our PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) team on 0800 953 0667 or pals@ghnt.nhs.uk. We have recently drafted a document for staff which highlights the importance of good customer service to our patients and their families/carers, and there will also be some internal training around these issues. We're always looking to improve our service, so thanks for letting us know where we need to improve.
