I visited the A&E dept on Sunday 13/9/14 with a damaged finger. I was sent for and X-ray which established that it was dislocated. I then saw a Nurse Practitioner(?) who numbed it and pulled the end joint into place. She sent me for another X-ray to check that it was OK. I was then told to report to the Hand Therapy unit about a week later which I did on Monday 22/9/14. I was seen by a member of staff who prescribed treatment and exercises. I returned for checkups on 26/9/14 and 3/10/14. At all appointments I was seen reasonably quickly (On 13/9/14 I was on my way home in under 3 hours) and treated efficiently. I feel that the service given was first-class. Kenneth Tingle,
