"Unexpected stay in Ward 22"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

Having had what I can only describe as an episode where I lost my short term memory I was admitted to the hospital as it was suspected I had had a stroke. Although I cannot remember the first day my family were very pleased with the speed of response and the treatment I received. Once I did start to remember the staff were exceptionally caring as well as professional and patient, answering all my questions no matter how often I asked them. First class treatment from a first class team. Although I would hate to experience this again I know I would be in safe hands if it recurred but I have been reassured by the Doctors this is unlikely to happen again.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am so pleased that you have had such a excellent experience of care from staff at North Tyneside Hospital. It is so kind of you to give the stroke team this wonderful feedback, thank you. I am delighted that your family gained such reassurance from the speed and efficiency of care in those first 24 hours. I can understand how worried they must have all been and how this must have brought some comfort Take good care. Annie
