"Awful organisation"

I came to a&e with what turned out to be a broken leg. Initial care was very good, then at my first outpatient appointment (which I arrived on time but was made to wait an hour) they decided to needed surgery. I showed up three days later and nobody had a clue who I was or what I was doing there. Eventually they told me to wait, which I did for 5 hours before being asked to go home and to come back two days later. I get a phone call the night before and they've now cancelled again. I appreciate that hospitals are busy and circumstances change but they should appreciate that people get anxious and occupied by the thought of surgery, to keep rescheduling puts undue stress on both me and my family. They've also told me I can't go to another hospital so fortunately I am stuck with them.
