My daughter was sent to Batley Health centre for some teeth talking out. We got an appointment 4 weeks after we had been to our dentist which was quicker than we thought it would be.
We saw the main dentist at Batley who was very thorough and very helpful with all the questions my wife asked. The nurse was lovely and played with my daughter when we were talking to the dentist.
We got our appointment there and then for the hospital which was 2 weeks later.
When we went to the hospital all the staff there were nice and we were so pleased when we saw the same dentist and nurse that we had seen at Batley. How lovely that there is continuity in care. My daughter who had been scared was really pleased to see the nurse there and was then happy to go into the theatre with her.
The Dr was lovely and she talked to my daughter while she was going to sleep, the nurse then took us into a side room and explained what would happen next. She answered all the questions we asked and explained to us when we asked why our daughters teeth had gone so bad. We never knew that we should still be brushing her teeth at 6 year old as no one had told us this before.
Anyway my daughter woke up and we were sent home when she was ok. We can't thank them enough for the care that they gave us. Brilliant
"Good dental care for my daughter"
