About: Chester Le Street Hospital

This is a lovely hospital, with all the feel of the old cottage hospitals. It is very much a community hospital, small enough to be friendly, modern enough to be highly efficient. The signing is clear and the main reception staff helpful and friendly. Unlike some hospitals, you don't have to trail down endless corridors to find your clinic. When you do get there the waiting areas are small and comfortable. If only there were more like this.....
