"Referral experience"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I would rate my referral via TRAQS as a 1

I waited 4 weeks for triage to confirm Docs GP request. The first available appointment with Gynae 6 weeks away. After 3 weeks, scan wait to 4 week Triage wait.

14 weeks from scan – Gynae appointment!

Dear Node441

I am disappointed to read of the delay you experienced following receipt of your referral at TRAQS.

As all comments posted with Patient Opinion are anonymous I am unable to look into the reasons for the delay.

I would welcome the opportunity to look into the audit trail for you and find out the reason for the apparent delay.

If you would like me to look into this for you please contact the PALs officer at the Telford and Wrekin CCG who will take details of your concerns and speak to me so that I can find out the answers for you.

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

PALS is open Monday – Friday 9am-4pm (excluding bank holidays).

Telephone: 01952 580407

There is also a 24 hour answer phone service.

Email: twccg.patientservices@nhs.net

Thank you again for bringing this to my attention
