"Consultants, midwives, doctors ..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

Consultants, midwives, doctors all seemed to work well together and I was not given unclear or conflicting information - this helped a lot! Also I found doctors and consultants easy to talk to, not intimidating.

What could be improved

I think that apointment and waiting times could have been better - eg appt at 2pm, but actually seen at 4pm, for example - I don't mean that this should mean doctors should rush patients, but there must be a reason for clinic running over time on a regular basis and this would need to be addressed.

Anything else?

I would recommend this maternity unit and all the wonderful staff and expertise here - maybe not appreciated enough, eh?
