The fertility clinic is a shamble. They think you don’t have a job so mess you around by last minute cancellations and wrong appointments. Forget about being to able to contact their reception. I have left messages many times, very rarely have I managed to speak to someone on the phone to just arrange a convenient day and time to book appointments. It’s pointless and waste of mine and their time, if they keep sending random appointments that I can’t attend due to work schedule. This would be resolved if only someone would pick up the phone when you ring. Its bad enough having to go through infertility problems but having to deal with Coventry Hospital fertility teams leaves me feeling with anxiety and stressed. I dread every time I try to make the phone call to make an appointment. I just wanted them to help me, but instead I feel worse than I have ever felt in my life!!!

We have contacted our colleagues in charge of the clinic who are sorry to hear you experienced difficulties getting through. It is a very busy phone line, but improvements are being made to the telephone system to take pressure off that line, and also a third receptionist is being recruited to help respond to calls in a more timely manner.
