"Friendly physiotherapy"

About: Caterham Dene Hospital / Physiotherapy (outpatients)

(as the patient),

I had a total knee replacement and I was assigned to the gym class after a few one to one sessions, I've had physio before at East Surrey hospital and it was a bit hard-going as the encouragement was a bit lacking, but Caterham Dene physio was great, its smaller, more personal & much friendlier, and I felt like I was doing well with good advice, more so than ESH, and I actually look forward to going to gym class instead of dreading it!

The only downside to it is that today, I heard that one therapist, Michael, is leaving for pastures new! Physio won't be the same without him, thank you Michael for all your help & advice, good luck & I hope our paths cross again in the future! All the best mate!

Dear Kay Jay

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback about the physiotherapy service offered at Caterham and particularly your comments about Michael. I have passed your details to Michael's manager and asked her to ensure he is aware of your lovely comments.

First Community Health & Care are committed to providing first class care and it is reassuring to have this confirmed by your feedback.

Thank you once again

Thank you, I am happy my comments will be passed on, and I always like to praise a good service as all to often I know its mostly negative things you hear about, not always the good stuff! Caterham Dene, North Downs Hospital and East Surrey Hospital (Crawley as well!) have always given me the best treatment and care they can, the TKR was the thing I was most dreading recovery from, Cat Dene physio showed me there is life after replacement and that you need to want that help to make It work, which they did!

Big thank you's to everyone, we have an excellent service...!!!!!
