"Good experience at Bingham Sure Start"

The services provided by Bingham Sure Start have been so useful to me since my daughter was born 4 months ago. My first experience was being able to use their breast feeding room when my baby was 2 weeks old and we were out in Bingham. The staff were so helpful to me, it was my first public breast feeding experience and they made me feel completely relaxed. They brought me water and just kept checking in to make sure I was doing OK. I really appreciated this as it made my first public experience of feeding far less stressful than it would have been if I had been anywhere but Sure Start.

We have also been going to baby sensory classes every week and they have been brilliant. I've met loads of other mums in my local area and I've also learned a lot of songs so I can entertain and bond with my baby at home. There are lots of toys we can play with in the baby sensory class and a variety of materials and fabrics that my baby can experience.

We have also completed a baby massage course at our Sure Start centre which was excellent. I was so impressed that there was no charge for the course. We've learned lots of massage routines which I have been able to use on my baby at home and this has helped us to establish a bedtime routine.
