"children's day unit"

My daughter had to go into the children's day unit opposite the main ward for an operation on her broken arm. We had been told that we needed to be on jacks place by 7.30 but no one even spoke to us until a young nurse came to collect us at 8. At first I thought she was too young and must be a student but she introduced herself as one of the nurses. Throughout the day she was lovely and made sure we were all ok, despite being very busy. She treated my daughter very well and made sure she wasn't in too much pain and rewarded her with stickers which made my daughter's day. Would highly recommend this department, thank you!
