"Care on ward 11"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My brother was admitted for surgery for bowel obstruction and cancer. He also suffered from severe dementia. He was treated on the high observation unit in ward 11. The care that he received during the 4 weeks he was there was exceptional from all the staff. He was treated with love and respect and was never left alone as he couldn't understand what was happening. If the care in the rest of the hospital meets that on ward 11 then Preston Royal must be one of the best hospitals in the country

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback at what is obviously a very difficult time for you as a family. We are so pleased to hear that all your brother's care needs were met through the duration of his stay on Ward 11; please be assured that your kind comments have been shared with the staff in that area.
