Following ongoing nightmare situation with daughter at what must be the notorious ES1 ward at the Maudsley Hospital.
Try to visit daily despite the stomach churning atmosphere and bleakness of this place.
Found our daughter shuffling about in hospital gown and someone's else's top.
Looks very unkempt and drugged up - she didn't acknowledge us or even seem to know who we were.
In spite of glaring lights and appalling loud music being played she fell asleep on a table and we alerted staff and left her there.
Enquired about the usefulness of the loud music only to be told that it was 'therapuetic'.
Told today that she no longer fits the criteria for ES1 and she faces transfer back to the first hospital with mixed wards and less care if that, is indeed possible
