I went to vote with help of husband as disabled due to a rare Auto-immune disorder. Then visited the Haven a place of sanctuary for those affected by cancer as I have breast cancer. Had a reflexology treatment and halfway through started to shake uncontrollably. By the end of treatment was whisked home as rigor continued and husband noticed my clay like pallor and blue lips. Due to me health history he didn't hesitate and called an ambulance.
I was rushed to hospital and in A and E diagnosed with serious infection. Sent up to The high dependency unit. I was looked after fantastically by nursing and medical staff. Never once did I hear the words, "In a minute" when I asked for my pain meds.
"My stay in hospital with septicemia"
