"Very Disappointing !!!"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

My daughter had to visit on the evening of Monday 22nd September 2013, as we thought she may have broken her toe (which was confirmed the next day) !! We were informed almost immediately that there could be a 3.5 hours wait, however never received an update and after this time and at 11.45pm asked the receptionist how much longer it would be and was advised that it could be another hour Surely there should be some system to advise patients if the wait time increases so they can make a decision of what to do A lot of people were very agitated at the lack of information and some said they had been there 4.5 hours without being seen Don't know whether this is the norm but if so the bureaucrats that run the hospital should make it a priority to sort
