About: Southmead Hospital

Went to the shop by the main entrance to get a sandwich or something to eat. Not much of a choice for vegans bar a banana and some nuts and seeds. 2 sarines could have been suitable for vegans but had yoghurt in them. Would like the hospital to supply to a growing number of people who eat vegan. And those veggies lactose intolerant. Cheese sandwiches lack inspiration and can be a bit dull. Overall service ok, just urge for there to be more options for food conscious people.maybe some more ssalad boxes too.

Dear Vae – I am sorry you found the choice of food available for vegans to be limited. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with the Facilities team to influence the products on offer in the retail outlets. I am glad that overall your experience was positive and wish to thank you for posting your comments to help us improve the patients and visitors experience. Kind Regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
