"At the critical times the treatment ..."

What I liked

At the critical times the treatment was on a par with private medical treatment. I am very impressed by the skill, care and politeness of everybody concerned. Each specialist team catered for all the needs of the patients.

What could be improved

From the time when the decision had been taken to allow me home (11a.m.) to the time when the medication for my departure was ready (7p.m.) seemed to me to be an unnecessary delay. I realise that great care has to be taken but wonder whether this procedure could be tightened up. The cost of looking after me for most of that day could have been saved.

Anything else?

The piece of equipment used to heighten the seat of the lavatory was unsatisfactory. Even the nurse could not secure this correctly. Surely such equipment could easily be arranged on hinges so as to facilitate its use or not as the case may be.
