Having just watched the Dispatches programme about NHS nurses I wanted to say that my mother who is 87 has been in our local hospital for 7 weeks following a fall and fracturing her shoulder and throughout that time, although there were a couple of minor issues, I never found anything like the stories mentioned on the programme.
My mother was cared for with help and kindness throughout her stay and so I just wanted to say there are some good stories and it shouldn't be assumed that all stays in NHS hospitals are horrific.
