What I liked

I was recently admitted as a daycase to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for a urological condition. Everyone involved in my care was polite and courteous, and the ward was so clean. Thank you to all concerned.

What could be improved

It would be lovely to have a private room, my own TV, a la carte menu ... apart from this I could have thought I was in a private hospital.

Anything else?

The staff were so friendly, it gave me real confidence that may care was their biggest priority. You hear so many bad things about standards in the NHS but my experience, and the experience of my family has been really positive ... although please finish the renovation works at maternity soon as my neighbour (who works there) finds it a bit frustrating
