absolutely cronic service ...twice Sandwell have failed my son once in 2006 when they totally missed to plaster his fracture causing unessasery pain discomfort & trauma ending in him having to be in a full hip to toe cast then just recently failing him again ..a&e staff were fab very pleasant in & out within no time at all only to feel very let down by the consultant we saw yesterday in the trauma clinic ...2 weeks ago my son was told he had 2 fractures & a bleed on his right ankle casted for 2 weeks then turned up for his appointment to have the cast removed to be told it was only an old ankle injury & that with some physio he would be fine within 2 weeks no xray offered to check due to her saying that plates growths in children mimic broken bones ...still hours later my son was continuing to put any pressure on his ankle saying this still caused him pain, after calling 111 they advised to take him to a&e within 4 hours,we used a different hospital this time round after an xray our questions & concerns were answered ,2 fractures were still present, visited their fracture clinic this morning which resulted in my son being full casted again for the next 4 weeks ...too much stress & time wasted for a 10yr old 2 weeks off school so far & work time lost too, to say im angry right now is an understatement im just hoping now for a full recovery & no long term damage.
"a&e staff fantastic cant say the same about the..."
