I had labour of horror, which I'm still having in my nightmares. It was 37 hours since first inducement pessary till my baby was born. After 24 hours in abnormal pain and massive amount of pain killers with hardly any progress in cervix I was nearly begging doctor to go for c-section. She told she won't risk her licence because of my whim! After another 12 hours of this nightmare I ended up with emergency c-section which has been done in 15-20 min because of failure to progress. I could have that c-section much earlier instead of putting my baby in to the risk, just because somone worries about licence more than about patients. Doctors responsibility in hospitals are to make right decisions at right time! I want to say big thank you for all midwives, that made me feel important and provided really best care I could ever think of.
