My wife fractured her humerus (arm) after an icy fall on what was probably the busiest day of the year.
At Airedale Hospital she was assessed immediatly by a nurse and given pain relief. We had to wait two hours but after an x-ray and meeting with the doctor we felt that all staff were operating under extreme pressure but treated us superbly in what is appaling accomodation. They all deserve much better working conditions.
Next day follow-up was equally under extreme pressure but again very courteous and patient.
