What I liked
The midwifery staff were fantastic when I was admitted for observation at week 28.
What could be improved
-The bathroom showers leaked and the hot water took an age to come through.
-The dispensary did not have the meds I needed so after discharge I had to drive to Broomfield to collect them.
-The food had no nutritional value. I am diabetic, severely anemic and I can't tolerate cows milk. Macaroni cheese simply does not meet my needs and none of the other choices were any better. Thankfully there was usually a bowl of fruit in the day room. If you follow a low fat diet however, take your own milk as they don't do skimmed (too healthy) or any non dairy alternatives. You can microwave your own food brought into the hospital as there are fridges available for storage - but the point is you shouldn't have to.
