"Some of the nurses showed genuine ..."

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Some of the nurses showed genuine concern

What could be improved

Diagnostic medicine very poor, admitted 3 times with crippling abdominal pains , sent home twice with a diagnoses of constipation, massive pain continued for a week even though white cell count was very high, no CT scan done, admitted a week or so later dieing of what turned out to be an intra abdominal abscess .. end result 3 weeks in hospital and 2 operations... a CT scan would have shown more than an x-ray and no one listened to my concerns that it was much more serious than constipation...

Anything else?

I'd like to think that the x ray was'nt done in place of a ct scan just to save money..
