"Gynacology Dept - Post menopausal bleeding"

About: Derriford Hospital

I was urgently referred by my doctor to the hospital with post menopausal bleeding. The hospital phoned with an appointment just a week after seeing my GP. I saw a doctor who was very kind and reassuring, as were all the other staff, both admin and nursing, whom I came in contact with on the initial out patient visit. I had a scan and then a biopsy and was recommended to have a hysteroscopy to confirm that all was well. Within 2 weeks, I was having the procedure. I cannot thank enough, all the staff on Erme, Fal & Postbridge wards for being so kind, professional & comforting to a very anxious patient - everyone was brilliant.
