"the ill treatment of my daughter"

About: Langley Green Hospital South London And Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was flagging up her mental health problems shortly after giving birth to her first son.

She has bi-polar disorder but it felt like no one listened.

Because of poor referrals, no care plan, hopeless medication she is now detained under the mental health act, her young son does not and probably will not get to know her.

She is housed in what is supposed to be a centre of excellence and but I feel it is disgusting that such places are still open.

This is 2014 not 1814.

Dear Torchlight

Thank you for taking the time to talk with me about the concerns you have about your daughters care whilst at the South London and Maudsley. As I explained given the nature of the issues you raised I suggested that the formal complaints route seemed the most appropriate one on this occasion. I believe you were considering that option. If you have I trust you will have had a detailed response and what options you have at your disposal if you are not satisified the Trust has addressed your concerns.

Kind regards
