"Poor experience of Lloyds Chemist, London Road, Liverpool (Opposite the Royal Hospital)"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I went into the chemist with my husband to pick up his prescription that he had been given at the Royal Hospital. When we went into the chemist there were two members of staff, (one was a security guard) and they were talking and laughing. The member of staff took a good while to serve us which made me very angry as we felt ignored.

We were eventually given the medication and followed the dosage instructions. We went back to see the Doctor a few days later and it was by chance the Doctor mentioned the dosage. On checking the medication it was apparent, what had been prescribed and what had been put on the medication were massively different.

I had been giving my husband too much of the medication and am horrified at what could have been the implications to his health if the mistake had not been discovered.
